How to Upload database and add contacts manually

In this article, you'll learn about 2 different ways to add and import your past clients or sphere of influence.

Note that the unique identifier for contacts in your account is their house address. This means when you upload your database each contact in your file must have a unique house address.

1. Manually add one-off contacts

You can manually create one-off contacts in your account and they will be receiving reports every month.

1. Navigate to the Homeowners page by clicking "Homeowners" in the top menu.

2. In the right top corner click the "Create Report" button.

3. Complete the fields and click "Create."
If you want to edit home value before the owner gets to see it, please open the report and disable it.

Uploading your database has never been easier. Follow the steps below and your account will be setup in no-time!

2. Upload your database

Navigate to the top menu and select "Homeowners," which will automatically place you under the "Report" section.

Now, to the right, you can access the "Upload Database" button through the three grey dots and subsequent drop-down menu or the "Upload Database" button itself, depending on the size of your browser window.

Step 3

Click on the "Download Template" button. Now, check the sample template to ensure you are including the proper information fields (ex: address, name, email) for Step 4.

Step 4

Export your clients from your CRM in .TXT .CSV .XLS or .XLSX file format OR fill in the sample template from Step 3 with the needed client information. Once you're done, go to the next step!

Step 5

Select "Choose File" and select the file you've just prepared for this step!

Step 6

You're all done 👏. A dedicated database specialist will ensure the formatting is correct, and you should be able to see your reports under the homeowner tab within 72 hours!
