How to upload your database to homeIQ

Uploading your database has never been easier.
Watch the step by step video or follow the steps below and your account will be setup in no-time!

Step 1

Navigate to the top menu and select "Homeowners," which will automatically place you under the "Report" section.

Step 2

Now, to the right, you can access the "Upload Database" button through the three grey dots and subsequent drop-down menu or the "Upload Database" button itself, depending on the size of your browser window.

Step 3

Click on the "Download Template" button. Now, check the sample template to ensure you are including the proper information fields (ex: address, name, email) for Step 4.

Step 4

Export your clients from your CRM in .TXT .CSV .XLS or .XLSX file format or fill in the sample template from Step 3 with the needed client information.

Here is the list of fields required to upload your database and how they should be formatted:

address - 9505 Lania Ln, Beverly Hills, CA 90210

name - John Doe

phone - 9167527774

loan_amount - 450000

sale_price - 500000

loan_amortization_period - 30

interest_rate - 2.5

loan_date - 1/21/2020

Please remove all the symbols such as . () #, otherwise you will get an error upon uploading the file. Once you're done, go to the next step!

Step 5

Select "Choose File" and select the file you've just prepared for this step!

Step 6

You're all done 👏. A dedicated database specialist will ensure the formatting is correct, and you should be able to see your reports under the homeowner tab within 72 hours!
